Methods and Boundaries

How this site works

Every article on this site follows a repeatable process. This page describes that process — not to impress, but to make the work inspectable.

Source Layer

Articles draw from five source families:

  1. Kindle highlights — 1,866 entries from 72 books, parsed and classified by theme. Short quotes only; no long excerpts.
  2. Wiki layer — 1,100+ compiled concept and person pages. Used for fact verification and internal linking.
  3. Quantitative research logs — Methodology discussions only. No signal names, formulas, parameters, or trade data are ever published.
  4. Legacy archive — 30+ pages from the original sustine.top site, selectively recovered and updated.
  5. Public sources — Shareholder letters, public transcripts, published books, academic papers. Always attributed.

Privacy Boundaries

Every article passes a privacy screen before publication. The following categories are never published:

  • Personal education details (schools, degrees, academic status)
  • Family members' occupations, habits, or identifying information
  • Internal hostnames, server locations, or infrastructure details
  • Commit hashes, project codenames, or internal repository structure
  • Operational incident specifics (data volumes, thread counts, API account numbers)
  • Proprietary research signal names, formulas, parameters, or rating systems
  • Current holdings, watchlists, trade logs, or account data

If an article cannot be written without exposing private details, it is not published.

Quality Gates

Before publication, every article is checked against:

  • Source traceability — every claim can be traced to a specific source
  • Privacy screen — zero hits on sensitive keyword patterns
  • Signal protection — zero proprietary research details exposed
  • Compliance — no investment advice, no securities recommendations, no target prices
  • Internal links — connections to related articles and topic hubs
  • FAQ section — structured Q&A for reader clarity (and search visibility)

Investment Content Boundary

This site discusses investment methodology, history, and frameworks. It does not provide:

  • Specific securities recommendations ("buy X", "sell Y")
  • Price targets or market timing predictions
  • Paid signal services, follow-trading groups, or subscription tips

The author does not hold an investment advisory license. All investment-related content is for education and discussion purposes only.
